Our Legal Redress commitment is to provide comprehensive support and oversight for all reported cases. Our dedicated team will:

• Investigate All Reported Cases: We thoroughly examine every case brought to our attention to ensure that no detail is overlooked and that each matter receives the attention it deserves.

• Supervise Litigation: Our Unit takes charge of overseeing all litigation processes in which we have an interest. This ensures that every case is handled with the utmost professionalism and expertise.

• Keep Parties Informed: We maintain open lines of communication with both the National Office and the Branch, providing regular updates on the progress of every case, so you are always informed and up-to-date.

Department of Justice Civil Rights Division

Congress created the Civil Rights Division in 1957 to uphold the civil and constitutional rights of all Americans, particularly some of the most vulnerable members of our society. The Division enforces federal statutes prohibiting discrimination on the basis of race, color, sex, disability, religion, familial status, military status and national origin.
